she comes to Him feeling forsaken

lost in a pain not of her choosing

seeking peace from a thing not of her making

wishing for a few quiet moments --- Passion-filled ---

to be Loved

hoping in her unspoken way

to be Loved yet another Day

and after that another too

and onwards if He will it so

for she would share His world unknown

it's newness faced, that she be owned

and seeking later so it seemed

to dare to live as she has dreamed

and loving thus in Love renewed

in bonds unbroken of T/their forging

and Passions felt unbidden, surging

the H/hearts entwined in H/hearts own will

yet travelling the Pathway thus

obstruction met and error made

and finding so new things to face

yet feeling not to change His way

she comes to Him in doubt expressed

and airs what troubles her passionate breast

and though the Path must still be reached

she loves Him yet and has beseeched

His word or thought upon the thing

which in her heart is lingering

her love undoubted feels the sting

of choices made and changes wrought

His love for her is unchanged still

she has His Heart : she ever shall

for Love's own stength will overcome

and gain what has defeated some

who, -- criticising hypocrates --

do in shadow as another does openly

but in the end tis He and she

who walk the Path

and by and by

to Renewed Love's tranquilities

or Passionate fiery episodes

Realise the Heart's Own Ways

are often Those which Show the Road.
