arrives she with flashing eye and muted motion

quietly in that soft and soothing way of hers

calmly seeking speech with Him

asking if He'll have her serve

His word is that this shall be so

and further that she's free to go

if circumstance should thus require

for He'll do nothing that damps her fire

along about a month or so

she comes to Him :"Sir, i must go..."

and He Accepts reluctantly

for He must stand by guarantee

and so she `parts tho looking back

to Him who showed affection that

remains as yet between T/them still

-T/they'll be D/dear F/friends and Ever shall

then quietly in her gentle wont

she takes up her re-new`ed bond

with Him who's Heart she'd never left

and without Whom she feels bereft

He witness thus to much of this

hath yet affection to her; He miss

the soft and caring gentle eyes

and willing warmth gently given

and so they talk from time to time

to share a friendship -- a thing fine

and Happy He to see her so

to be at where her heart does know

its' own true joys and happiness

the love she has by Love Possessed

the bonds she took

by marriage blessed.
